Our Story

Gut health shouldn't taste like a chore.

good measure started with a simple frustration: every fibre supplement we tried tasted like sawdust and felt like homework. So we set out to make gut health something you'd actually look forward to: a drink mix with 7g of prebiotic fibre plus probiotics and postbiotics, flavoured like a golden peach iced tea, with no added sugar and near-zero calories. One scoop, one glass, one small daily ritual. That's it.

From the good measure team

The daily ritual.

01

Mix

Stir one scoop into cold water. It dissolves clean. No grit, no clumps, no chalky aftertaste.

02

Sip

Ripe golden peach with that classic iced-tea finish. Tastes like a treat, not a supplement.

03

Repeat

7g of fibre and a full 3-biotic blend working quietly in the background of your day. Every day, in good measure.

One glass. Three biotics.

Tap a square to explore

Proportions illustrative.

Day 1 to Day 90

What 90 days of good measure actually does

The glass is the easy part. Here's what's happening on the other side of it: what you'll notice, and what you won't.

01 Days 1 to 30

The proof arrives first.

What you'll feel

The first thing fibre gives you is the thing you can measure: more regular, more comfortable digestion, usually within the first few weeks. You'll also notice the 3pm snack pull getting quieter. 7g of fibre holds you fuller for longer.

Week one tip: start with half a scoop and plenty of water while your gut adjusts.

What you won't see

Your gut bacteria noticed before you did. Research shows the microbiome starts shifting within days of a diet change. From your very first glass, you're feeding the good bacteria their favourite food.

From the research

Four-week trials of daily prebiotic fibre improved regularity and bowel comfort. Gut microbes respond to fibre within days.

02 Days 31 to 60

The invisible work begins.

What you'll feel

Steadier. Fibre slows how fast sugar hits your bloodstream, so energy holds instead of spiking and crashing, especially if good measure has replaced a sugary drink. Fewer 11am dips, fewer impulse snacks. Regularity stops being a result and becomes your normal.

What you won't see

Your beneficial bacteria are multiplying, and they're paying rent. As they ferment prebiotic fibre they produce short-chain fatty acids: the fuel your gut lining runs on, supporting the barrier that sits between your digestion and your immune system. About 70% of your immune system lives in and around your gut. This is who you're feeding.

From the research

Daily prebiotics consistently increase beneficial bifidobacteria and the bacteria that produce butyrate, the gut lining's primary fuel.

03 Days 61 to 90

The baseline moves.

What you'll feel

Nothing, and that's the point. The ritual is automatic, your digestion has a rhythm it didn't have before, and the day you skip a glass is the day you notice what it was doing. Tastes like a treat; works like a habit.

What you won't see

This is where fibre earns its reputation. The largest review of fibre research ever done, 185 studies in The Lancet, linked consistently hitting 25 to 29g a day to 15 to 30% lower risk of heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes. Not from one good week. From the baseline you've just spent 90 days building: roughly 630g of fibre most Australians never get.

From the research

The biggest benefits of fibre belong to people who hit their target consistently (The Lancet, 2019). More than 7 in 10 Australian adults fall short (Nutrients, 2018).

Measure yourself

Measure your gap.

Three quick measures: your day, the top-up in food, and what food alone can't carry.

01

Your day.

Tap what you eat on a typical day. We'll do the maths.

Approximate values from standard food composition data. Every plate differs.

Target 25 to 30g

Your foodgood measure +7g

Tap your typical day and we'll measure it. Even at zero, one glass starts you at 7g.

Topping up 7g with food alone can run anywhere from 60 to 700 cal, depending on the food. A glass of good measure: near zero.

02

What one glass replaces.

Seven grams, priced in food and calories, on top of your usual.

Bananas 2.8 ≈ 250 cal
Apples 2.3 ≈ 220 cal
White bread, slices 9.3 ≈ 700 cal
Side salads 3.5 ≈ 60 cal
good measure. 1 glass Near zero

Fair play: half a cup of lentils gets you there too, for about 115 cal. We just taste like peach iced tea.

Each square is one serve. Approximate averages for fibre and calories; sizes vary.

03

Beyond fibre.

Fibre is a third of the story. Food can carry the rest in combination; one glass carries all three.

No shade to yoghurt or kimchi. They're genuinely great; plain yoghurt just brings about zero fibre, and raw plants carry no live cultures. Your gut only makes its own postbiotics once the bacteria are fed.

Prebiotic: The Fibre Blend (7g), the hero
01 Chicory Root Inulin A source of prebiotic fibre & inulin +

One of the best-studied prebiotic fibres there is. Inulin travels through your small intestine undigested and arrives in the gut intact, exactly where your beneficial bacteria are waiting to ferment it. Classic food for the microbiome.

02 Acacia Fibre Gentle, slow-fermenting soluble fibre +

Harvested from the sap of the acacia tree. It ferments slowly and gently in the gut, which is why it's known for being easier on the stomach than harsher fibres. More feeding, less bloating.

03 Guar Fibre (PHGG / Sunfiber®) Clinically studied, famously well tolerated +

Partially hydrolysed guar gum, a soluble fibre that dissolves completely clear and is one of the most-researched fibres for everyday digestive comfort. It's the reason good measure doesn't drink like a glass of sawdust.

04 Sugarcane Fibre (Resistant Dextrin) Resists digestion so it reaches the gut +

A resistant dextrin made from sugarcane. 'Resistant' is the point: it passes through the small intestine undigested, so it arrives in the large intestine where your gut bacteria can actually put it to work.

05 Green Kiwifruit Powder Natural fibre & enzymes for regularity +

Whole green kiwifruit, powdered. Brings its own natural fibre plus actinidin, a fruit enzyme. A combination traditionally loved for supporting comfortable, regular digestion.

Probiotic & Postbiotic: The Live Cultures
06 Bacillus coagulans Shelf-stable probiotic that survives the journey +

A spore-forming probiotic, nature's armoured version. Its protective shell means it stays stable on the shelf without refrigeration and survives stomach acid, so live cultures actually make it to your gut where they're useful.

07 Postbiotic The finish step for the gut barrier +

The step most gut products skip. Postbiotics, like heat-treated cultures and tributyrin, are beneficial compounds that help support the gut barrier and complete the prebiotic, probiotic, postbiotic story.

The Hydration Mix (a pinch)
08 Coconut Water Powder A light, natural source of electrolytes +

Real coconut water, powdered, for a light touch of natural electrolytes. Supporting cast, not the headline. It just makes your daily glass a little more useful.

09 Pink Himalayan Salt + Potassium & Magnesium Trace minerals to round out hydration +

A pinch of pink Himalayan salt with trace potassium and magnesium, the minerals your body uses for everyday hydration, in quiet supporting amounts.

Taste & Texture
10 Stevia & Monk Fruit Plant-derived sweetness, zero added sugar +

Steviol glycosides from the stevia leaf plus monk fruit extract, both plant-derived, give Peach Iced Tea its sweetness with no added sugar and next to no calories.

11 Silicon Dioxide Keeps the powder free-flowing +

A minimal amount of anti-caking agent, standard in dry drink mixes, so every scoop pours cleanly and dissolves without clumps. Practical, boring, honest.

Good questions.

When do you launch?

Very soon. The countdown above is ticking, and waitlist members will be the first to know the moment we go live, along with their launch-day discount.

How do I claim my launch discount?

Join the waitlist with your email and we'll send your discount code straight to your inbox on launch day. No hoops, no minimum spend games.

What does it taste like?

Ripe golden peach with a classic iced-tea finish, sweetened with stevia and monk fruit. It stirs into cold water in seconds and dissolves clear, with no grit, no clumps and no chalky aftertaste.

How do I use good measure?

One scoop, one glass of cold water, once a day. Stir, sip, done. Each tub holds 30 servings, a full month of your daily gut ritual.

What's actually in it?

A 7g prebiotic fibre blend (chicory root inulin, acacia fibre, guar fibre, sugarcane resistant dextrin and green kiwifruit powder), a shelf-stable Bacillus coagulans probiotic plus a postbiotic, a light touch of natural electrolytes from coconut water powder and pink Himalayan salt, and plant-derived sweetness from stevia and monk fruit. No added sugar, no artificial colours or sweeteners. See the full What's Inside list above.

What are prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics?

Prebiotics are the fibre that feeds your good gut bacteria. Probiotics are live cultures that add to their numbers. Postbiotics are the finishing compounds that help support your gut barrier. Most products stop at one or two; good measure carries all three in one glass.

Is 7g of fibre a lot?

It's a meaningful head start. The research target is 25 to 30g a day, and more than 7 in 10 Australian adults fall short. One glass covers roughly a quarter of your daily target on its own, on top of whatever your food brings.

When will I notice a difference?

Fibre's first effects are the ones you can measure: most people notice more regular, more comfortable digestion within the first few weeks. The deeper work, feeding your microbiome and supporting your gut barrier, builds quietly over the following months. The 90-day guide above walks through it honestly.

Will it make me bloated or gassy?

We chose gentle, well-tolerated fibres like acacia and partially hydrolysed guar gum specifically to keep this to a minimum. Some people notice a little adjustment in the first few days as their gut gets used to more fibre. Starting with half a scoop and plenty of water for the first week smooths the transition.

Can I drink it every day? What time is best?

Every day is the whole idea: consistency is where the benefits live. Any time works, and most people fold it into their morning routine so it never gets forgotten.

Can I mix it with something other than water?

Cold water is the classic serve, but it plays well in smoothies, sparkling water or cold juice. We'd skip hot drinks to look after the live cultures.

Does it contain sugar or artificial sweeteners?

No added sugar and nothing artificial. The sweetness comes from stevia leaf and monk fruit, both plant-derived, and there are no artificial colours or sweeteners anywhere in the mix.

How many calories per serve?

Near zero. With no added sugar and 7g of fibre doing the heavy lifting, a glass barely registers. The full nutrition panel will be published at launch.

Is it plant-based?

Yes. good measure is plant-based, naturally flavoured, and free of artificial colours and sweeteners.

What about allergens and gluten?

The full ingredient label and allergen statement will be published at launch, and waitlist members will see it first. If you have an allergy or intolerance, hold onto that email and check the panel before your first scoop.

Does it need to be refrigerated?

No. Our probiotic is Bacillus coagulans, a spore-forming strain with a natural protective shell, so it stays stable at room temperature. Just keep the tub cool, dry and sealed.

Is it okay with medications, pregnancy or other supplements?

good measure is a food-based fibre drink, and it generally sits happily alongside a normal routine. That said, if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, managing a medical condition or taking medication, have a quick word with your GP first. They know your situation; we don't.

How is it different from old-school fibre supplements?

Three ways. It dissolves clear and actually tastes good, so you'll keep drinking it. It uses gentle, well-researched fibres rather than the harsh, gluey kind. And it doesn't stop at fibre: probiotics and postbiotics ride along in the same glass, which traditional fibre powders skip entirely.
